The Final Messager/the Beginning of the End, or "Knockin' on Heaven's Door"

Shinji, feeling lonely once more since all of his friends are gone, meets Kaoru Nagisa, the Fifth Child. Kaoru is very friendly towards Shinji, making Shinji feel akward once again. Kaoru refers to Rei that she is the same as he is. Although many questions are raised about the Fifth Child. Most notablely, all of his personnal data has been eradicated, just like Rei's. Plus Kaoru can syncronize with Unit 02 without it being reconfigured from Asuka.

The final Angel finally makes itself known. It calmly works it's way towards Terminal Dogma, towards Adam. No one at Nerv can stop the Angel. No one except Shinji. But can Shinji destory the most terrifying and powerful Angel yet? And the Angel explains that what we thought was Adam, is actually known as Lilith. The beginning of the end.
