A Transfer/The Phone That Never Rings

Shinji starts school. When the class finds out that Shinji is the pilot of the robot that saved the city, they see him as a hero. All except for Toji Suzahara. His sister was injured in the fight. Toji lets loose his fustration by punching Shinji.

Then Shamshel,the 4th Angel, attacks. Kennske Ida and Toji leave the shelter so that they can see the fight. For their safety, Misato tells Shinji to let them into the entry plug. Their they see the pain in which Shinji has to endure while fighting. Shinji was able to defeat the Angel, leaving it almost entirely intact for study.
