Asuka Strikes!

Evangelion Unit 02 and its pilot, the Second Child is being transfered to Nerv from Germany. Misato, Shinji, Toji and Kennsuke go to the naval fleet escorting it to Japan. There they meet the Second Child, Asuka Langley Sohryu and Kaji Ryoji, an old aquaintance of Mistato. while still enroute, Gaghiel,the Sixth Angel, attacks. Brash and bold Asuka activates Unit 02, dragging Shinji with her. After the first underwater battle for an Evangelion, the Angel was destroyed. Kaji delivers to Commander Ikari what the Angel was really after: Adam, the First Angel.
