This is essenitally the first 20-25 minutes of the real Evangelion movie. It was released as a sort of teaser of what's to come since it cuts off when the actions really starts. SEELE is tired of the way Gendo Ikari has handled the scenario. They had decided to take back Lilith and Adam back by force. SEELE deploys troops to destroy NERV and kill all personnel. The final sequence has Unit 02, with asuka back in control, and nine Mass Production Evangelions circling above her.
