Shinji is a drawn-back and reclusive fourteen year old boy without much value for his life. After years of being igroned by his father, Shinji was summoned out of the blue. When he got to Nerv, the agency that his father commands, he was instructed to pilot the robot(?) Evangelion Unit 01.
